What’s it like to give up the dog at about 14 months of age? The seeing eye selection and training process is rigorous. Not all the dogs make it through the program to become service dogs. It is a reminder to the rest of us who may have a single dog we want to help become a service dog or therapy dog that it takes lots of training and practice.
